Cashing up

Cashing up occurs before and after each shift. For example, during an 8am to 12pm shift, you cash up at 8am and again at 12pm. This process helps ensure you're satisfied with the till's contents and can spot any mistakes. We have a counting scale for easy cashing up, eliminating the need for manual counting. Simply turn on the machine and process the coins; it will guide you through each step. After counting coins, tally your notes. If you have many of a specific note, separate them and add in sections for accurate counting. Once all coins and notes are counted, record the total on the cashing up sheet. Subtract £100 for your float and enter the new figure in the corresponding box.
